Oakland Park Real Estate | Funky Buddha Brewery
Coral Heights, Coral Woods and Coral Terrace
Boca Raton based Funky Buddha Brewery signed a lease on September 14th to open a new location at 1201 NE 38th Street in Oakland Park. Oakland Park is trying to develop the downtown area into a Culinary Arts District.
According to the owner of The Funky Buddha Brewery Ryan Sentz, after meeting with the City of Oakland Park and understanding the initiatives, they’re excited to be part of the Culinary Arts district success.
The Funky Buddha Brewery has rented nearly 18,000 square feet of space in the old Sears warehouse located at the north end of NE 12th Avenue in downtown Oakland Park. The brewery will have 30 barrels for craft beer to be available in their tasting room and also distributed throughout south Florida. The tasting room will be open to the public featuring a variety of beers and offer tours of the brewery demonstrating the beer making process.
Dale Palmer & Associates would like to welcome The Funky Buddha Brewery to the Oakland Park Real Estate market. Were looking forward to them opening. The city of Oakland Park has been working on the downtown area for a number of years and decided on moving towards a district that would focus on the Culinary Arts. The Funky Buddha Brewery will attract other culinary related businesses and puts the downtown area of Oakland Park well on its way to becoming a food and entertainment district.
The downtown Culinary Arts district is located blocks from the neighborhoods of Coral Heights, Coral Woods and Coral Terrace. Were excited the direction the city has taken to help our community grow.
